Hi. I cannot signup to a developer account. I receive the message “No phone on record” but the phone does not even have a field to specify a phone number!

There is no phone number on the twitter account. I signed up using Google signin. There is no phone number field on the form to register as a developer, and actually, the the project API Im experimenting with uses Twitter authentication for signin and they state I need a developer account - I really not want a twitter account anyway.
thanks for the explanation, but unfortunately as a developer you must have a twitter account as a handle, that’s a requirement.
and your twitter account (not from developer portal) must have a verified phone number. it can be like ordinary users in general from the twitter app (android/ios) or the web version of twitter.com
