Cannot post a new status with a GIF

Hello,

I’m trying to upload a GIF with the new multiple media entities API, but the server is always answering with a “Bad Request, code 214”.
The initial upload of the image with the media/upload endpoint is successful, but the next call to statuses/update with the new media_ids parameter fails with the above error. Uploading JPGs and PNGs works fine.

Are GIFs not allowed with the new multiple media API?

Doing some more tests I get the same error when uploading GIFs with the statuses/update_with_media method (the images are all under 1MB).
