Cannot Create Embed Timeline Widget

When I go to Widgets>Create New>Profile, then enter profile URL, receive the following message:

Not found

Sorry, we can’t create an embed for that. It may have been deleted or made private. Please try again.

Using the following URL, and tweets are not protected:

Hello, I have the exact same issue as Grant_Stoner and when trying from publish.twitter.com I get the same error message (Not found. Sorry, we can’t create an embed for that. It may have been deleted or made private. Please try again.) Would you have any other solution?

What link are you trying to post in the publish.twitter.com URL box? What browser are you using?

Which version of Chrome, on which platform, please?

This is working as expected for me on Chrome 52 on macOS, but I want to eliminate version and platform differences as a first step.

I’m trying with these URLs https://twitter.com/ABaradez and https://twitter.com/IG_France_ and I’m using chrome as well (Version 52.0.2743.116 m) but on Windows 7.

Are you using any kind of ad blocker or plugin that might interfere with Javascript on the publish page? I’ve just tried the first of those links in Chrome here and it generates a visible embedded timeline just fine.

Not that I’m aware of. I’ve tried from a mac and it worked fine so that’s definitely due to my pc…
