So, I had my request to access the Research API accepted but I can’t seem to create a Research Project on my dashboard. I can only create one Standard Project (500k tweets). Am I doing sth wrong or have I not understood sth correctly?

Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out. I’m investigating a similar issue on another thread. Do you have any screenshots you can share?

Here you are  As you can see there’s not the option of adding another project, while the current project has a 500k limit

Thanks! In theory, there should be another Project that has been created for you based on your application, could you confirm that isn’t showing up.

As an FYI, I am also working with the team to figure out what may be happening as well.

Thank you so much for your help. Yes so I can confirm that there’s not any research project on my dashboard. When I received an email saying that my request was accepted, I clicked the attached link, which redirected me to my dashboard but nothing new showed up. I can also verify that I have access to the Academic Research track (see here: image).

Here’s my Projects’ overview:

As I mentioned on a different thread. We’ve isolated the issue and working to create a fix. I’ll let you know when I have more updates.

Hi,

I just wanted to follow up. While working to find a fix, we noticed your account seemed to be in an approved state. I wonder if this may be caused by confusion around Projects. More information on Projects can be found here. On the page before the one, you sent you should see two Projects and one for standard and academic. If you don’t see that, could you send over a screenshot?

Best,

Jessica

Just to clarify - If i already have a v2 Project for a different application and purpose, applying to the academic access, i will have 2 projects? or will i have to delete my current one? I still feel like i’m missing something. (I’m just asking about this ahead of time to double check, i still haven’t applied yet, waiting to get more information because i don’t want to accidentally break my existing work because i’m also administering a COVID19 stream which i definitely don’t want to cut off unintentionally)

@IgorBrigadir Yes, in that, case you should have two projects showing up—one for academic usage and the other for standard. Happy to chat more about this.
