Thanks for sharing this kind information. But when i click your given link ,I found something like this
The Twitter REST API v1 is no longer active. Please migrate to API v1.1. https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/overview.
Please suggest me in this situation? My twitter page url is https://twitter.com/AnthonCanecchia
Twitter no longer serves RSS feeds. You have to use a form of authentication and the JSON format in API v1.1 instead now.
Get your Twitter RSS feed at http://rsstweed.com
WTF? The guy offering the same service free gets his service axed, and you come here offer the same thing for $5?! Gotta love your arrogance bud!
Devs, please kill this guy's service too ffs!
Is it possible to have a twitter timeline or a tweets about a certain #hashtag on my app? I'm building an app using applicationcraft and I would like to incorporate https://twitter.com/CreightonBiz feed in my app... is that possible?
Feel free to use our online tool to generate your twitter rss feedhttp://www.logect.com/content.php?r=398-twitter-rss-feed-generator-tool
Kinda useless for embedded devices that support RSS feeds to display information.
Is there anyway to add content to my twitter account using an RSS feed?
Can web tools like vWriter.com really keep Twitter updated from RSS Feeds?
No, I'm afraid not.
I'm not familiar with vWriter but it is certainly possible for a tool to read from an RSS feed and then post to Twitter (Wordpress.com can do this for you for instance). You do need to authenticate the apps to your Twitter account.
I'm curious. Since it takes a lot of time and effort to keep Twitter updated from RSS Feeds, wouldn't it be wiser to outsource the job to web-based companies like vWriter.com?
I got around the reliability issue by having a crontab fetching the feed daily (you could do it more often, my page isn’t that active) and displaying it from the saved copy (just a text file of the RSS on the server). If it fails, don’t write over the old copy until you have a successful grab of the feed.
Are there any other solutions apart from vwriter, its just very expensive a solution for starters.
