Can Twitter card metatags be declared outside of the header?

The documentation clearly states that you need to call the twitter card metatags in the header. While I know this is not well-formed, is there any problem in including it outside of the head?

The issue is that we are trying to distribute player embeds to a video we serve to a number of 3rd party sites. We want them to include the twitter card markup, but we can’t explicitly control whether the 3rd party sites will put the metatags in the head.

It will not work if the meta tags are not in the header. You need to help these 3rd party sites to markup their pages correctly and apply at https://dev.twitter.com/form/participate-twitter-cards for their domains.

Thanks Sylvain - it looks like the only approach we can use would be to serve the video via an I frame from our domain. Thanks!
