Can I use https://stream.twitter.com/1.1/statuses/sample.json url and get location specific tweets?

I am using https://stream.twitter.com/1.1/statuses/sample.json url and getting some random tweets.
Can I send some parameter to this url for getting location specific tweets?

Please help me in understanding this.

To get geo-specific tweets, take a look at the filter endpoint instead of the sample endpoint.
