Im looking to the users/friends/ids and lookup but there does not seem to be a way to see if a perticular user has authorized/installed my app?
Can this be done at all. Should be a common enough use case…

This cannot be done. If you want to keep track of users who’ve installed your application, you’ll need to keep track on your own accord.
