Can I get all the tweets from an account in text format?

I would like to get all the tweets from an account in text format with date and time data, is that easy to do?

If it is your own account, you can request the account archive and download the Tweets in a zipped format.

Otherwise, you have two challenges:

• you’ll need to use the REST API to request the timeline for the account, and then write out the results in a format of your choosing;
• you’re asking for “all the Tweets”, and the API only allows access to up to the last 3,200 Tweets of an account.
