What is the issue?
Getting error code 69 when attempting to login via API from brain[.]snappykraken[.]com
I had to put brackets around the dots in order to post this message.
What is the error message?
{“errors”:[{“code”:69,“message”:“The given URL is considered malware”}]}
When did it start?
October 21st
What have you tried to troubleshoot?
We have researched why this flagging occurred. We run regular scans on our site and know that no malicious code exists there. We found that phishtank[.]org flagged it for some reason, but it has to be a false-positive, and they have no way of contacting them to make any appeal. This is strictly our admin site and it makes no sense that it would be flagged and it’s only for authenticated users.
Thank you for any help you can give as this is effecting our production system and our customers are complaining.
Did you try the Spam form? Sometimes that works for removing the false positive malware classification

Yeah, I submitted that a few days ago on Sunday the 23rd.

https://phishtank.org says it is operated by Cisco Talos Intelligence Group.
Since Phishtank has no way of reaching out to anyone there, I have reached out to Talos, and they have now manually looked into our application and deemed it benign, and they have updated the rating in their system on https://talosintelligence.com/reputation_center/lookup?search=brain.snappykraken.com, but the page on http://phishtank.com/phish_detail.php?phish_id=7617356 remains.
I have included some of that correspondence below, and it can be corroborated by going to their site and looking up our application https://talosintelligence.com/reputation_center/lookup?search=brain.snappykraken.com

I haven’t received any updates, but it looks like the report was taken off of Phishtank as now going to this link redirects to their homepage http://phishtank.com/phish_detail.php?phish_id=7617356
and if I run a search, my site is no longer found in their database.
I only hope this will update on Twitter as well. Currently, the original issue of this ticket continues to exist with the Twitter API.

It has now been a couple of days since the domain has been returning a clean report, but it is still getting the same result as was originally posted in this ticket. I have tried submitting the Spam form again.
Is there anything else I can do?
It’s so frustrating as all of this was due to a false-positive.
I’m still stuck on this one. Our site https://brain.snappykraken.com is still flagged by Twitter even though it is clean.
Hoping for some help or direction.
Please submit a report to Twitter API Policy Support so that the correct team can investigate.
