Working on an exciting new tool meant to empower users to more easily participate in productive discussion. Sneak peak shown at @twidgeltoolkit. Doing this as a hobbyist.

Working with API V2 and it’s wonderful. I, stupidly, blew my monthly tweet cap. Was trying to max out the 15 minute rate limit allottance, several times, simply to develop for the scenario. Failed to realize I would blow the monthly cap. Waiting a month to regain tweet access is very inconvenient. What can I do?

Is there a kind soul at the controls who can take mercy on me and reset it?

Thanks for reaching out. By monthly cap, do you mean the 500k monthly cap for v2 access? This 500k cap is applied at the Project level and only applies to Filtered Stream and Recent Search. It does not apply to standalone Apps.

The 500k limit is just a starting point associated with our early access, basic tier of access. We do intend to provide elevations in the future. Unfortunately, we do not have any elevations available at this time.

Thank you for your response. Yes, what I was referring to was the 500k monthly cap for v2 Project level tweets.
