Bizarre video upload/post issue

So, If I upload a video and then try to post it, I get a 401 unauthorized exception. This is pretty much guaranteed to happen every time I try.
Clearly my fault right? Well no.

Through trial and error, I found out that if I spam two uploads/posts within a second, both will successfully post.

My hack solution right now, to force it to work, is to spam three uploads at the same time, with a 1/10 second delay between the start of each, and when the third is finished uploading make the post. Works every time.

The code I’m using, completely unchanged, worked a month ago without hacks.

Posting plain messages and images works without a hitch. The only issue I’m having is with videos.

Seemingly, everything works fine again without hacks.

@Regaerd Are you receiving 401 from /1.1/statuses/update.json (create tweet) api? Please could you provide more information?

Yes, I was getting a 401 on /1.1/statuses/update.json, which I could mitigate by spamming uploads.
However, the issue went away sometime yesterday without any changes on my end.

I assumed someone had fixed a server-side issue, but maybe it’s just intermittent.

For the record, I’m using STTwitter for all of the API interactions.

@Regaerd That is quite possible. I am going to close this thread. Please let us know if you come across this issue again.
