I was unable to get cost totals on the account level - is ‘billed_charge_local_micro’ not a valid metric for https://dev.twitter.com/ads/reference/get/stats/accounts/%3Aaccount_id and if really not, why?

The document doesn’t say anything about it.
I guess that billed_charge_local_micro is a currency relevant metric, it can not be summarized if you have multiple funding instruments with different currencies.

So there are multiple funding instruments that can be applied to one account on a campaign level at the same time?

That seems counterintuitive. Why would somebody want to fund multiple campaigns from different funding sources at the same time in the same account?
