Best way to get screen_name from huge retweets

Hi

What is the best way to GET all screen_name of users who did retweet a tweet. let say this tweet which got 167K RT. what is the best way to get all screen_names without hiting a limit .

I am planing to build an app to record who do retweet for selected +1000 twitter accounts for marketing research. some tweets may get no retweet but some may get a few thousands retweets up to 10K or more.

I’d suggest that the best way to do this would probably be e.g. a premium full-archive search query. However, that’s a commercial option.

From a standard API perspective, there’s no functionality that would make this easily accessible to you.

And what request is really mean?

can i GET all screen_name in one request if they like 10K or more?

This is explained on the same page. In the table it shows you that in the sandbox free tier, for each HTTP request to the Twitter API you can get a maximum of 100 Tweets back; in the premium paid tiers you can get a maximum of 500 Tweets per call. So for 10K Tweets you’d need at least 20 calls in the premium tier.

A period is a billing period, ie a month, so at the bottom tier you get 100 requests in a month.

If the Tweet you’re getting Retweets for is within the past 30 days you could also consider the premium 30-day search API instead.
