I’m looking for a way to find the most popular tweets (by retweets or favorites or another method you suggest) in a user’s timeline. The API seems to have deprecated much of what I’m familiar with and I never much liked hitting the same tweets over and over just to get updated retweet counts.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how best to do this? Ideally I want to get a list of the most retweeted tweets over a week’s long period of time. I don’t think the search API includes anything involving retweets, right?
