Beginners Question: Create a New Application - It stays frozen

#1

Hi

Beginners Question:

It is the first time that I am creating a Twitter App.

Done:

Twitter Account with Telephon No.

1 Visit the Twitter Developers’ Site

2 Sign in with your Twitter Account

3 Go to apps.twitter.com

4 Create a New Application

5 Fill in your Application Details

After I have done this, I got this message:

Your application has been created. Please take a moment to review and adjust your application’s settings.

It stays frozen.

No way to come to this point:

6 Create Your Access Token

SO: What have I done wrong?

Thanks for your help!

Can you explain what you mean by “frozen”?

Do you see a link to your application in the apps.twitter.com dashboard?
If you click into that page, you should see

Details - Settings - Keys and Access Tokens - Permissions

as four tabs across the top, and you can use the Keys and Access Tokens tab to configure your keys.

Frozen = blocked: I get these lines: Your application has been created. Please take a moment to review and adjust your application’s settings.

Nothing more: It does not lead / switch me to step no 6 “Create Your Access Token”

#4

Can you post a screenshot here or via another site that shows what you are seeing on apps.twitter.com? What browser are you using?

#5

Browser: Google Chrome
Please have a look at the two printscreen attached.

#6

Any idea what the reason is, that at least I can not creat an New Application?

#7

O.K… so… there is not anybody that would mind helping me?

#8

I’m not sure we understand the issue here. What happens when you load apps.twitter.com? Do you see any apps registered?

Do you have any plugins installed in your browser that may interfere with the application setup process? Can you try with an incognito window?

#9

I have it now tried with google incognito - no plugins installed.
Result: It is still frozzen in this status: Your application has been created. Please take a moment to review and adjust your application’s settings.
Pressing apps.twitter.com - Result: You don’t currently have any Twitter Apps.
