Banned / blacklisted ip -- how to resolve?


I’ve seen other folks w/ this issue but there seems to be no clear consensus about its resolution. I’m getting my feet wet w/ the api and had some initial success, but not now: … even pings to from this box – a rackspace cloud server instance – time out. Would like to get back on track working w/ the api – any light you can shed would be most appreciated, and thanks much in advance …
