Hi, I want to create a welcome message for users who contact me by DM.
Does this option still work? Can someone help me please, thanks. I don’t understand the procedure.

Yes, these still work, but you have to make calls to the API yourself, Setting a default Welcome Message | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform with something like twurl GitHub - twitter/twurl: OAuth-enabled curl for the Twitter API

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to make welcome messages work without some knowledge of APIs and making calls - you would have to get familiar with that first - if you’ve never used APIs before, APIs for Beginners - Learn how to use APIs in this free video course is a good start.
