Hey guys!
So I’m making a twitter bot for a friend, so they have their own set of accounts (their main account along with the bot account) and I have my developer account, should my dev account be set as their bot account’s managing account, or should their main account be set as the managing account.

I’m not twitter so this is just my opinion: As far as i can tell, the account “managing” doesn’t have a bearing on the API - so it should probably be set to the account that could do something or should be contacted about the bot if needs be. The API keys will still belong to the App, owned by your Developer account however.

So you are saying that the person who owns the account which my bot is posting on, they should use their main account for the managing account?
Yeah - the “automated by” thing is purely aesthetic / for others, nothing to do with the API access itself.
