Hi, just curious how often an application can run into the rate limit error without getting banned for it.
In my case I’m paging through a lot of stuff and immediately quit if I hit the rate limit. Then 16 minutes (next window+peace of mind) later I do the same thing again. Worst case scenario assuming all runs run into the rate limit that’s 90 errors per day.
Would that seem excessive or “ok but sloppy”?
I have looked through the developer guidelines and tried searching the discussions to no avail.
I understand that there are more defensive options and have used them previously but we prototype a lot and if handling the rate limit exception is “ok” then that would be easiest for most hacks.
