Wondering if there is any policy against updating the underlying image referred to by the Twitter Card metadata after a tweet has been posted?
Here’s an example use case:
- At 8 AM, I post a tweet with the forecast for the next 12 hours in my location.
- A user who opens the tweet at 8:01 AM and views the twitter card sees an image that contains the forecast for 8AM - 8PM.
- My site updates the image periodically, but does not post a new Tweet.
- A user who opens the tweet at say 12:00 PM and views the twitter card sees an image that contains the forecast for 12PM - 12AM.
Thanks,
Alex
