Just wondering if an embedded timeline on my page will be personalised or tailored to particular users/viewers? Or will everyone see the same time line?

No, the embedded timelines themselves will not be personalized. The dnt parameter is used to exclude the fact that the timeline has been viewed on a page, from personalization on the Twitter website or apps.
