Apps Disappeared

My app disappeared from the App management page after I removed a user from my team. Is the user that creates the app tied to the app for life? I went to recreate it and it told me the name was taken, which leads me to believe it was still in the system somewhere.

I didn’t get any notices that the app was removed by Twitter for violating terms or anything like that.

It is indeed tied to a user. I’m not sure if Twitter will recover it though I’m sure a staff member can clarify.

So I tried to re-invite that user after adding the user to the team, no link came through to the invite.

I’m also guessing that there’s no way to transfer the app to a different user. As it is now, if that user is ever removed from the organization, we’re kind of hosed.

Hi @patrick_invvade. Thank you for your message. @bobber205 is correct that it’s tied to a user. Currently, it’s not possible to share app management across your team. Apps (keys/tokens) cannot be edited, created, or deleted by non-owners. I apologize for any inconvenience.
