Approved, but no image

My twitter card was recently approved, but no image is displayed. The image randomly displayed one time using the validator, but not since. It usually times out and says “exceeded 15.seconds to image-proxy while waiting for a response for the request, including retries (if applicable)”.

Here are my tags:

	<meta name="twitter:card" content="summary_large_image">
	<meta name="twitter:url" content="">
	<meta name="twitter:image:src" content="">
	<meta name="twitter:image:width" content="480">
	<meta name="twitter:image:height" content="480">
	<meta property="og:site_name" content="I LOST A">
	<meta property="og:type" content="website">
	<meta property="og:url" content="">
	<meta property="og:title" content="When you lose a bet, you gotta pay the piper.">
	<meta property="og:image" content="">
	<meta property="og:description" content="No pain, no shame. This guy had to shave half of his head, and he got off easy. If you've ever made a bet, check out">

Also, I noticed that the validator generates open graph thags with meta “name” instead of meta “property”, which the facebook URL linter considers invalid. Looking at other successfully displayed twitter card tags, I see people using “property” for open graph and “name” for others so I stuck with that.

Response headers for the image:
Date:Wed, 08 Jan 2014 14:56:18 GMT
Expires:Fri, 07 Feb 2014 14:56:18 GMT
Last-Modified:Wed, 08 Jan 2014 00:06:25 GMT

This thing is live and there’s media pointing at the site. HALP!

Robots.txt blocking images:

That was a temporary goof - wasn’t in place before when experiencing the issue, or currently (accidentally pushed staging repo).

I’m experiencing the same behavior as originally described. Sorry for the mixup, and thanks for the response!

Screenshot of missing image in validator:

I updated the meta tags and re-submitted but the card description remains unchanged on twitter. Image still doesn’t show.

Sorry for that. We cache card metatags. Can you try this?

My twitter card was recrawled thankfully, however the image still isn’t showing up. I made sure to add a cache busting query string.

Also noticed the profile pic in the validator example is not loading - gives the SSL error Error code: ERR_SSL_PINNED_KEY_NOT_IN_CERT_CHAIN. Thought you’d want to know.
