Application-user authentication vs. Application-only authentication and rate limits

Hi, i just read various documentations regarding this topic and i am still confused.

1.I have an app and working fine but is my app an app-user auth or app-only auth?
2. i had a rate limit exceed though i ran my code after 4 days when it was last used? (NB: error 88) limit of 180, while issuing one query to search tweets. and i don’t know why?

What tokens are you using and how did you get them? Are you following a particular guide/hotow?

i am using the secret token, and the access token, i got them from the app i created.

Did you ever resolve this issue , I have the same question. Also how do you find the rate limit of tweets for your authorization?
