API use case update waiting approval for a LONG time

I have got access to the API already. A few weeks ago I submitted a request to amend the use case, slightly broadening the scope.

From terms and conditions, I understand that You must notify us of any substantive modification to your use case and receive approval before you may begin using Twitter Content for that new purpose. However, a really long time has passed and it’s unclear to me whether the request has been examined or not.

Any advice on how to proceed?

They seem to be a bit slow to respond for those kinds of things - a few other academic access devs had similar requests

2 projects? Closing & opening project?

You don’t re-apply once you’re approved is all i know. You don’t loose the project / academic access. And you shouldn’t create a new account either. Twitter still didn’t officially answer but in your place, i would make a new app, add it to the existing project and send a note to Platform and keep going.
