Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the trends: [] list that trends/place.json returns is an ranked / ordered list? The API docs are unclear on this.
If I base it on the tweet_volume, it would appear that it’s is un-ordered, since the entry with the highest tweet_volume is not necessarily at the top of the list. But, since tweet_volume is apparently the volume across the last 24-hours this may not be reflecting what is currently trending.
So, am I to assume that the trends list is ordered and trends[0] is currently the top trending tweet? Or, if un-ordered, how do I go about determining the rank / order if some of the tweet_volume fields are null?
Thanks.
