We’re trying to create a user experience that lets people pre-schedule a post in the week leading up to the World Cup to be launched at the same time. While no single user will exceed any limits, the application scheduling the tweet will need to exceed the 1000 posts per 15 minute maximum to be successful. Our workaround, which was to send reminders to users to come to the site to post, would also exceed the 1000 post maximum.
What is the process for getting around this? Is there a workaround? Some kind of vetting we can do to show that we won’t be spamming anyone? Who can we work with inside of Twitter on this?
