API playground

Hello, I am new to tis environment and need to learn a lot. I would like to know if there is a playground to test the Rest API and get the HTML codes to post into my account.
Any pointers would be most appreciated.

There are a few options here:

• if you want to test API calls, you can use the API console provided by Apigee, or you could use our command-line twurl tool. There’s no “non-live” test environment, though, you’ll be using the real Twitter API and live service.
• if you just want cut-and-paste HTML to add to a website, you can use publish.twitter.com to customise buttons or widgets to embed on your site.
