Our app and API access recently got limited by Twitter. They said that they sent an email to our engineering email but we never received one. We actually found out about the disabling of the API by numerous user bug reports saying that our Twitter integration wasn’t working anymore.

As far as we are aware we comply with all policies and we have not done anything different from what we described in our original application.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with the Twitter Dev team directly? I have read other posts about the Twitter Dev Team taking a long time to reply. Our users really like and rely on our Twitter integration so we are worried about when the Dev team might reply. All help or advice from previous experiences would be highly appreciated.

I think this form is the direct way: App is suspended or restricted last time for me was because of multiple apps for the same purpose - and i just had to delete some unused ones and keep the active ones.

Thanks for your advice Igor. We only have one app so that unfortunately won’t solve it for us. How long did it take the Twitter Dev Team to respond to you? Also did you receive an email from them when they disabled your account? They say that they sent us an email but we never received one.

it was around 2 weeks i think - and yes, i also didn’t receive an email, and only found out when stuff stopped working

Ok, that is very helpful. 2 weeks is a long time to wait, we already got 10s of support requests today. Just disabling accounts without sending emails seems very unprofessional to me.
Thanks for your help. I am guessing you just submitted a ticket via the link you sent me and waited? You didn’t find a different way to reach them?

Yep, submitted the form and just waited and then it was re-enabled
