@anywhere rate limits

Hi there,

I see that the rate limit per Server IP Address is 150 per hour and for an authenticated user is 350 per hour. Even a request for the authenticated users details deducts a point from your limit.

Does @anywhere for website integration allow you to obtain the same information as per the Twitter API and does it count again the Server IP or user’s rate limit?

Hi Craig,

@Anywhere is a client-side way to use the API, so unauthenticated & authenticated requests alike are counted against the end-user’s rate limit quota. Unauthenticated requests would count against their IP address rate limit of 150 requests per hour and authenticated requests would count against their per-user per-IP address rate limit of 350 requests per hour.
