Hi all, I am teaching a social network analysis course at a university and wanted to give an assignment to the students where they can get familiar with twitter api and use a modified version of the sample code provided by twitter on github:
Twitter-API-v2-sample-code Recent-Search
I used my edu domain email address and shared the assignment content and confirmed that i will remove students’ access when the semester is over but my account got rejected in 30 minutes (which i consider right away).
Now that I used my edu domain email for this, and it does not let me reapply, what can i do? Any tips?

Just curious - did you apply for normal dev account or the Organizational one? Getting access to the Twitter API | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform
I applied for organizational after realizing that they keep rejecting the students’ requests (it was trivial to get a student account years ago).
I think i will have to withdraw the assignment and not teach Twitter stuff, they don’t seem to be supporting academic requests to explore their own sample code anymore.
