Any update on restoring ability to send URLs in Direct Messages?

I see you put up the following announcement here: https://support.twitter.com/articles/14606-posting-or-deleting-direct-messages.

“We’re restructuring back-end elements of our direct message system. As a result, users may be unable to send some URLs in direct messages. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Is there a timeline on when we might expect to be allowed to send URLs again in direct messages?
