A year ago I posted about this… Using the web widget for timelines, quoted tweet content does not appear. This is a known issue going back years according to what I found doing a forum search on “embedded timeline quoted tweet”.
So, Twitter peeps, any idea if/when this will get fixed?

As of last week this has been resolved. We still don’t support the rendering of the quoted Tweet, but a link to the quoted Tweet does appear and is clickable. Let us know if you are still having issues.
