Age Targeting 3.0
Japan-specific age buckets and 18-24 age bucket
We are announcing the third release of expanded Age Targeting options. The new change comprises primarily of new age bucket ranges intended exclusively for targeting in Japan, with ranges tailored to the requirements of that region’s advertisers. Also, available for all campaigns in any region, we are including the highly-requested 18-24 age bucket.
In conjunction with these new Age Targeting options, we have made significant improvements to our models to improve accuracy and coverage. We are continuing to invest in brand safety filtering and sensitive verticals can make use of family safe age filtering.
These new buckets are available now.
New globally available age buckets:
Upon this change, the following age bucket is available for all campaigns and analytics reporting for new campaigns.
New Japan-targeting only age buckets:
The following buckets will only be available for campaigns exclusively targeting Japan. Campaigns which target a location in Japan and another country at the same time will not be able to utilize these buckets.
These buckets will also be available for analytics reporting for new campaigns.

Requirements for usage:
- At least one targeting criteria location assigned within country code = JP
- Target
REGIONS, METROS, etc within Japan
- No targeting criteria locations assigned outside of JP
