Age targeting is now available for all advertisers.
Target users in one or several of the following age buckets.
AGE_13_TO_24AGE_13_TO_34AGE_13_TO_49AGE_13_TO_54AGE_OVER_13AGE_18_TO_34AGE_18_TO_49AGE_18_TO_54AGE_OVER_18AGE_21_TO_34AGE_21_TO_49AGE_21_TO_54AGE_OVER_21AGE_25_TO_49AGE_25_TO_54AGE_OVER_25AGE_35_TO_49AGE_35_TO_54AGE_OVER_35AGE_OVER_50
As a reminder, use the POST batch/accounts/:account_id/targeting_criteria or POST accounts/:account_id/targeting_criteria endpoints to add age targeting to line items. In addition, it’s possible to retrieve analytics segmented by age using the asynchronous POST stats/jobs/accounts/:account_id endpoint. Simply specify segmentation_type=AGE.
For now, the GET accounts/:account_id/features endpoint will continue to return the VALIDATED_AGE_TARGETING account feature. This will be present for all ads accounts. We will no longer return the AGE_TARGETING account feature, which was associated with the old age buckets. See this announcement for more context.
Please plan to remove any age targeting account feature checks as we will remove this account feature completely in the coming months. We will update this thread with timing.
