Animated Gifs in twitter cards

I’ve a website that collect gifs, and before the inclusion of Animated Gifs in twitter, i usually used the photo card.

Today reading again the Photo Card documentation, I’ve read that phrase:

“Animated gifs are currently supported in Twitter Cards via the Player Card.”

I’ve read a bit of the Player documentation, but i can’t see any reference to Gifs inside.

Which is the correct way to use gifs in twitter cards?

You will need to make an html page that has a gif in it. The url of this html page is defined by the twitter:player meta tag
