I am creating an application that needs twitter trends information by a WOEID. If the user scrolls the map and centers on another place with a different woeid, I want to fetch the latest trends around the new place. The twitter API’s rate limiting restrictions do not permit to make these calls in real time. So, if I could update the trends for all the supported WOEIDs once every day, and store it at my end, I would not hit the rate limit.
I can serve up the trends from the local store if i am allowed to query trends by WOEID and store it on my end once every day.
Is this allowed? I could not figure this out from the terms and conditions “Developer rules of the road” page.
