We are developing BoinxTV (www.boinxtv.com), an application that can render tweets into a live video stream.
We only maintain a single connection to https://userstream.twitter.com/1.1/statuses/filter.json?delimited=length&track=SEARCHTERM
When I connect to this stream for the first time I get JSON data and everything is fine.
As soon as I change the search term I will get http status error 420.
When we change the search term we disconnect the previous connection, wait for 2 seconds and than try to connect with the new search term again.
But since a few days we always get 420 on the second attempt.
