So like so many here we get the message the our domain doesn’t validate yet it showed green. We’re not even sure what it means to “not validate” given that thousands of users use it to play our media every day. How could we use this without valid metadata? What metadata are you expecting that wasn’t there. How can we fix what we don’t know is broken? And why did it show green two months ago when we applied…?
If anyone from Twitter is in this forum and can help, here is a screen shot of the validator with the lights showing green yet the domain is marked not approved. If it’s something else other than what’s here please help us.
Did you submit the request for approval? If so, what did it respond with?
@rchoi - Thanks for having a look. I just resubmitted it for approval - standard tags green and it shows the image in the “sample box”. After submitting I got a message saying thank you for submitting.
If there’s something missing we can fix it, just give us some help
A couple things:
1.) The URL loads insecurely: https://a.sso.ng/ssng/2357/embed
2.) It would help to make it more clear that it’s a player with a “play” button overlay
Those are two reasons it doesn’t fit the guidelines; there may be more, but it’s worth changing first.
Will do. Will we have to resubmit or just fix these in the meantime while awaiting review. I’m sure these can be taken care of quickly. Anyway, thank you VERY much for the help so far. I’ll report back when these have been corrected.
Ok @rchoi so we’ve implemented https at cloudfront and tested secure loading. We’ve resubmitted the application for *.sso.ng so we’d appreciate any consideration as we waited for two months and it’s taken us some time to fix the issues and to make certain we were ready. Thanks in advance.
