Adding twitter feed under Joomla 1.0

Hey,

from work I am supposed to incorporate the latest tweets on a Joomla 1.0 website.

When I paste the html code in the editor, only the twitter link and the rest of the code is shown in the article.

Any suggestions?

I hate to say this Bernard, but Joomla 1.0 is seriously out of date and you really, really need to upgrade. Running a software that old puts you at a huge security risk. Please contact a Joomla developer and enquire about upgrading to Joomla 3 asap.

To answer your question, Joomla is stripping the code as a security precaution. Open the Global Configuration and select “none” in the editor field. Then paste the html directly into the html of your article and save it. That should do the trick. Re-enable the editor in the global configuration.

thanks for your advice!
Is it possible to upgrade from 1.0 to 3.0 without loss of data, information, and formatting problems?
I tried following your steps.
So i disabled the editor, logged into the website normally, chose the article, pasted the code into the html source code editor, but i get the same result with the following text in the article:
