Adding a query string creates a different count

Here is the issue I am having:

http://www.bradaronson.com/shark-tank/ has a total count of 100

That same url with a query string added to the end (for tracking purposes) http://www.bradaronson.com/shark-tank/?ST has a count of its own (currently 14).

I have set the canonical link in the head.

Why is the count not 114? Am I doing something incorrectly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

URL parameters are considered unique components of a URL, unless they are standardized tracking parameters such as those used by Urchin-compatible analytics software. For best results, I recommend explicitly defining the data-url in each Tweet Button declaration.

Thanks for the very quick response.

If I use the following tool, will the share count work as expected:
http://support.google.com/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55578
