Our application lets users publish which concerts they are attending to Twitter. Last week, our ‘Connect to Twitter’ flow and our post-to-Twitter code stopped working.
What seems to be the problem is that this call no longer works:
$ curl -i ‘http://twitter.com:80/account/verify_credentials.json’ -H ‘Authorization: OAuth oauth_nonce=“gBYTVaQ7tNciQEy6mnz3lEwFzdQCoWoN7osZ4nz7mQ”, oauth_signature_method=“HMAC-SHA1”, oauth_timestamp=“1350394822”, oauth_consumer_key=“ekwTqrvEgVK6PfEeon1pAA”, oauth_token=“13861042-hdSU8O26PjXpYrAvm4cwvG0fc1OVeBHufZQXOUr2Z”, oauth_signature=“xbrSBDy2LBFfFDUq%2Bcng2ER7rK4%3D”, oauth_version=“1.0”’
It returns a 404. If you omit the Authorization header, you get a 401. Can someone shed some light on this?
