I’m going to preface this by saying that this is second or thirdhand information, but my company has “Log in with Twitter”, along with “Share via Twitter” functionality in our applications, and for years we have used a given account that was created for this purpose. It’s been theorized that because we did not explicitly log into the account for three years that it’s now gone. So what I’m looking to know is:
- Is that true, that our account is gone? I can provide the username here if that’s helpful, or send it privately.
- If it is true, is there a way that I could provide the API key(s) that we were using and have it tied into something new?
We’re looking to avoid the reality of having users who need to create new accounts in our world so I’m hoping there’s a path to correcting this.
