Access home_timeline

I’m new to the Twitter API.
I have access to the user_timeline and searches, with the ConsumerKey, ConsumerSecret & AccesToken, but I seem to get a ‘not authorised’ message when trying to access the home_timeline - does it need different authorisation?
Any help/pointers would be great!

User Auth should be fine here. What API library are you using?
