Hi all!

I have received access to the academic research version, and I would like to invite “collaborators” – students that I am teaching how to use Twitter’s API, but who do not work with me on the project for which I’ve applied.

Under the standard access to the API this was possible by going to “manage teams.” But to my understanding, this is not possible with research access. Is there some workaround? Perhaps there is a way to revert back to the standard access to the API?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks so much!

Hi @apo_filippas

You are correct, currently this is not supported, so the best option is for your students to apply for developer account and use the standard product track for class.

Also check out our course that can help students learn about the Twitter API, how to apply for access and how to use existing code samples to get Twitter data.

Thank you very much for the swift response @suhemparack !

Is there currently a way for me to revert my access to the standard track? It is much easier for students to be invited, rather than to have them apply.
