I am a master student and I want to use the Academic Research to do my final research thesis. However, I got denied the application, I think mostly because we don’t have a student directory and I don’t have a google scholar account, so I provided the profile links of my tutor, but still I got denied the application. There is any way I can get some help with this?

I am in the same situation as you.
Im a final year undergraduate student, who’s also doing a dissertation. Although I know undergraduate is not a listed criteria to be eligible for the academic research access, but my dissertation relies on tweets, and Im half way through my academic year, and I am at the moment not sure what to do.
Your best bet is to get your supervisor to apply separately - and then collaborate with you, Twitter Developer Access - twarc
Alternatively, lacking academic access you can use an existing dataset and Hydrate the IDs https://catalog.docnow.io/ if you need a dataset of tweets.

Hello! The same just happened to me yesterday and I don’t know what to do. I am not sure if I can apply another time. I am a student working currently on my master thesis and I need this access urgently for my empirical analysis. I don’t even know why I was not accepted. I have sent a link of my google scholar account but they were also asking for a link to my university profile but there is only a private profile that I can access to check my grades and choose my classes. Have you been successful with getting a response from twitter or did you apply again? I would be happy to hear from you
I have a similar problem.
Rejected because I don’t have a Google Scholar profile (nothing published yet), Research Group web page doesn’t exist, and I don’t appear in the Student Directory because the Department doesn’t list us even though I provided my academic email address, a screenshot of my enrollment from the Student Portal and a link to my supervisor’s profile.
