I from Japan.
I have some qustion about Developer Agreement and Policy. But there are no Japanese pages have place to ask such qustion, so I’m writing it in my terryble English…
(If you know someone can understand Japanses or Chinese, please read Japanese or Chinese under the English area)

I want to make a web page like album, and use TwitterAPI to copy my photos from my twitter account to my server in automatic.
Is this program against the Developer Agreement and Policy ?

Twitter Terms of Service says
"You retain your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Services. What’s yours is yours — you own your Content."

But Developer Agreement and Policy says
"Use Twitter Content or other data collected from users to create or maintain a separate status update, social network, private messaging or live broadcasting database or service." in G-2-d-ⅲ

I guess that the policy is only “Restrictions on Use of Licensed Materials”( in Developer Agreement Ⅱ), and I have my photos and my friends photos’ license, so I don’t need to worry about the Policy.

But my web page’s album have some button like favourite button in twitter, and I’ll make it can be used by other people to make them own album.
So I worry weather I against the Policy.

現在、アルバムのようなウェブサイトを作成しているのですが、twitterから自動で自分がアップロードした画像をAPIで取得して自分のサーバーにコピーするため、開発者ポリシーのG-2-d-ⅲのエクスペリエンスのコピー禁止関連の条文に引っかからないかが心配です(サイトを今後誰でも自分のアルバムが作れるようなソーシャルネットワークに改造する可能性が十分あります)

ただ、今回の場合はすべて本人の意思によって、ネット上に公開されている画像をコピーすることに当たるので、twitter社からライセンスを借りるわけでもなく、twitterAPIのポリシーは適用されないようにも思えます

そのサイトは開発者ポリシー等に違反しているのでしょうか？

我正在做一个类似于公开相册的网站。这个网站打算用推特API从我的推文里找出图片 然后传到我的服务器上
这个在推特里允许的吗？

我认为 API的那些规则都是用于从推特公司授权的图片（在前面人家都说了Restrictions on Use of Licensed Materials）所以用我自己的照片的时候 不用显示名字 只要RT，fab键就行了（为了尽量不减少推特公司的客人）

我的网站为不违反推特的规则呀？

There are a number of issues to consider here:

  • how can you be certain that you have the users’ permission to reuse and separately store their content on your service, how are they explicitly opting-in to this?
  • your use of the API means that you also agree to remove content removed from or protected on Twitter in a timely manner, how are you going to comply with that requirement if you’re storing the content on a separate system?
  • it sounds like you’re building a social app bootstrapped from Twitter content; this is explicitly against the terms.

I could understand that current plan is against the Policy, but I couldn’t understand " a social app bootstrapped from Twitter content " means…
Is it means “social app using twitter account as login account” or “social app get content from twitter API(use own server is OK)” or "social app post some user have tweeted thing which user want to say, "

Please let me ask weather this improved plan will be allowed or not:
・make a social app like Mastodon.
・users can create own account in my app, and login to post them pictures.
・also, they can connect them twitter account with my app account by login to my API.
・if they are connecting with my app, we’ll check them timeline in automatic and post them in my app or tweet what they posted in my app.
(if they disconnect my app from twitter->setting->Apps we will stop collecting.)
(of course we’ll explain about it clear in my app)

Sharing from your app to Twitter would be fine.

The other parts (sharing from twitter to app) is OK?

You should not use content from Twitter to import to another service or app.
