A general question about what all policies should i be concerned about regarding my use case

#1

Hello,
I am making a use case in which users need to tweet some content (which is specified by a specific user) from their account to be eligible for further activities (for example games, contests). Tweeting will be automatically done through the app after getting their consent.
I do appropriate checking if the tweet content is valid and that it is not offensive etc, but having a look at the policies and rules i am worried if my application might be in violation of them and might be subjected to penalization.

  1. https://dev.twitter.com/overview/terms/agreement states in II. B “Rate Limits. You will not attempt to exceed or circumvent limitations on access, calls and use of the Twitter API …”
    – If a user tries to access my application and tweet beyond the rate limit, how many times will it be before ill be penalized/ my app will be penalized?

  2. https://support.twitter.com/articles/76915# states in “Automated Retweeting” that “Automation of Retweets often leads to spam and other negative user
experiences; therefore, Retweeting in a bulk or automated manner is
prohibited. Automated Retweeting is permitted for apps or accounts that
Twitter deems to provide a community benefit.”
    – My app seems to be in violation of this, till what extend will retweeting be allowed in this case?

  3. https://support.twitter.com/articles/18311# states in “SPAM” that “if you post duplicate content over multiple accounts or multiple duplicate updates on one account”
    – Till what extent is that allowed for the use case specified?

Please clarify if in the above mentioned cases my application will be seen faulty or if not, till what extend (for example how many retweets in case 2) it will be allowed or be ok?
Thanks!

It is not possible for a user or application to exceed the rate limit as these are applied on the server side. You’ll get an API error.

Automation rules are applied by our antispam systems so there’s really no simple way to answer this - if your app is seen as noisy and spammy then it will be restricted.
