404 message on image preview in Twitter widget

I have set up a user timeline widget and it’s working fine except that I’m getting a problem with an image preview which show a blank box with a “404 media not found” message. The image is on pic.twitter.com and looks fine everywhere else.

If anyone can help I’d appreciate it - either to make it display properly, or just not show the preview box. This look like the right place to ask, but if somewhere else would be more appropriate please let me know.

I don’t know what’s causing the root problem, but I’ve found the previously unnoticed “Auto expand photos” and unchecked that. This is good enough for me!

Actually it’s only -nearly- good enough because clicking “Show Photo” still brings up the error in the embedded timeline.
